Shuman Insurance Presents: Alberta Ballet On Stage, spotlighting classical pieces from The Sleeping Beauty.  For the first time Alberta Ballet is coming to Camrose for series of special events at the Jeanne and Peter Lougheed Centre for Performing Arts Centre and this is what they had to say about it: Alberta Ballet On Stage is a series of rehearsal events that lift the curtain and show what goes into making our performances so incredible. Hosted by the artistic team, each evening will showcase excerpts from Alberta Ballet’s signature works. The artistic team will share their expertise and insight, and the dancers will share their approaches to delivering powerful performances. This will be an interactive event with an opportunity for audience members to ask questions.​ Our November event will spotlight classical pieces from The Sleeping Beauty. This is the first in a three-part series (buy tickets to all three shows and save). Watch for announcements about the themes we’ll bring to life in January and February, which are set for: Thursday, Jan. 21, 2021; Thursday, Feb. 18, 2021. We’re looking forward to sharing live dance with you, on the big stage but with a behind-the-scenes feel. We’re doing everything we can to ensure a safe, live event.
