Shumka: Emerge

Witness seven new works created right here at the Jeanne and Peter Lougheed Performing Arts Centre from our favourite Ukrainian dance company. Through Shumka: Emerge, Shumka can test out riskier works while giving young artists professional opportunities that could shape their future, and they'll be in Camrose for a special creative residency from July 19 to July 21.

We're donating all proceeds from this event to the Canada Ukraine Foundation

Shumka will premiere these seven special works, each five to 10 minutes long, and will be followed by a post-show chat with the artists discussing their influences, motivations, and artistic insights.
