Jim Croce has become synonymous with the soundtrack of the 1970’s. A man who understood all too well the struggles of making it in the music industry, his career exploded early in the decade but he was taken from us long before his time was up in a fatal plane crash. A perfect combination of blue collar characters and intimate love songs intertwined with magical melodies, the power of his music to this day stands the test of time over and over again. Time in a Bottle, Operator, Rapid Roy, Bad Bad Leroy Brown just to name a few of his songs that are ingrained in our memories. Join Second Sunset Productions for a brilliant evening of music carefully curated with some of the best artists Edmonton has to offer. John Hewitt, Benjamin Williams, Patrick Hughes and Connor Miskiman(From Picking Up the Pieces: The Songs of Gordon Lightfoot and the New Americans) form the front line for this tribute to a songwriting legend. This is a must see homage to one of the most influential songwriters of the 20th century.

Performance Notes

Due to the nature of the musical content of the Life and Times of Jim Croce, we have decided that a more intimate room with our current audience size would be of greater benefit to the performance and the audience alike. We apologize for any inconvenience and thank the Jeanne and Peter Lougheed Centre and their team for being so accommodating during our logistical switch. The same show will go forward as planned in the Mayer Hall and we hope this new set up brings you closer to the music.

**Please note that this event will be 18+ with the venue now in the Mayer Hall, thank you.
